Skylight Theatre Company, a non-profit intimate theatre company established in 1983, is one Los Angeles’ longest standing theatrical companies.  Recognized as a “powerhouse of new play development” by Dramatist Magazine and as “a leader in play development” by the Los Angeles Times, Skylight’s 42 year history has provided a nurturing  home for countless artists.  Bronco Billy – The Musical (their first musical production, originally developed and staged at the Skylight in 2019), opened in London’s West End at the Charing Cross Theatre January – April 7, 2024. In just the last 10 years alone, three plays originating at Skylight have been performed Off Broadway and on Broadway, The Wrong Man, Church & State (which had 65+ productions in 33 states), and Lavender Men (which received a staged reading at Circle in the Square). In 2019, Center Theatre Group remounted their multiple award-winning production of Rotterdam at the Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of Block Party.
