Kristin Chenoweth to Join Tabernacle Choir for Christmas Concert

Kristin Chenoweth will serve as guest artist and narrator during this year's Tabernacle Choir Christmas concerts, to be held at Temple Square December 13-15. The concerts are under the direction of choir musical director Mack Wilberg and associate director Ryan Murphy.

Best known on Broadway for originating the role of Glinda in the hit musical Wicked, Chenoweth's most recent Broadway musical was the 2015 revival of On the Twentieth Century, for which she received a Drama Desk Award and a Tony nomination. She earned a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award in 1999 for her performance as Sally in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She also performed in Broadway productions of Steel Pier, Epic Proportions, The Apple Tree, and Promises, Promises.

The forthcoming concerts will air on PBS next year.
