Forever 54, a new musical about legendary nightclub Studio 54 that is conceived and directed by Tommy Tune and written by Mark Saltzman, will receive its world premiere at the The University of Miami's Jerry Herman Ring Theatre, November 9-19.

The theater's season will kick off with Night Train to Bolina, a play written and directed by Pulitzer Prize-winner Nilo Cruz (September 14-24). The work is set in an unidentified, war-torn Latin American country where two peasant youths, Mateo and Clara, create an imaginary world to cope with the starvation and oppression of their daily lives

Up next will be a new production of Federico Garcia Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba, featuring a new translation by Cruz and Karin Coonrod, which is being presented in a professional collaboration with the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, where it will be performed (October 13-30).

The theater's season will be rounded out by production of George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber's comedy Stage Door (February 15-25), and the musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, by Stephen Sondheim, Larry Gelbart, and Bert Shevlove (April 11-21).
