The Water Children

The Water Children centers on Megan, an actress in her mid thirties who is being forced to come to terms with the fact that she is no longer an ingénue female lead. When she loses an important role to a younger woman, her agent convinces her to take a well-paying commercial for a pro-life organization called Life Force, to the annoyance of her rampantly left-wing roommate Liz. Megan, having had an abortion at 16, and being a staunch liberal, is conflicted about the job. In accepting the role, she unwittingly embarks on the personal journey of her life, spinning into her past, magnifying her present, and leaving her completely at a loss as to her future.
