The O’Conner Girls

Set in Minnesota at Christmas, Seattle author Katie Forgette’s The O’Conner Girls depicts a reunion, of sorts. Adult siblings have come together to attend their father’s funeral and to sift through his mountain of personal effects, many related to his lifelong career running a classic movie revival house. Their expectations of a routine excavation of paperwork are altered by their discoveries of the variables of family memory, and by an unexpected visit from a long lost neighbor.
