Seattle sketch comedy wackos Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt celebrate 15 years of comedic partnership with Smorgaspork: The Best of Ham for the Holidays. Koch and Platt serve up another steamin’ helpin’ of hog this December with their annual laugh-fest of twisted sketches and hilarious characters. Smorgaspork is the sixth offering in the ever-popular “Ham” series (Ham for the Holidays, Son of Ham, Bride of Ham, Glazing Saddles, Cinco de Porko). Written by Koch/Platt and directed by Valerie Curtis-Newton, the show¹s talented cast includes versatile actor Andrew Tasakos and musical director/pianist D.J. Gommels.
Drawing from their entire arsenal of the past 15 years of material, Lisa and Peggy have selected their favorite sketches, and most dysfunctional characters: Craft Lady and Sister Mary Agnes open a gay wedding chapel; the tiny Sequim Gay Men’s Chorus return with peninsular tunes; Superheroes dish the dirt at a class reunion; The Surly Bitches and Mud (Compost Morning Dew and Dolphin-Free Tuna Woman) headline at SolsticeFest; and mother-daughter country superstars The Spudds host a dating game for Mama Euomi.
