Full of heart and hope, Ernest Thompson’s classic play, On Golden Pond, is a poignant look at the strength, compassion, and devotion of the indomitable human spirit. A retired New England professor and lovable curmudgeon, Norman Thayer, Jr., and his spirited wife, Ethel, decide to spend one final summer at their family’s lakeside cottage, after vacationing there for the past 44 years. However, this summer, everything will change as new bonds are formed and relationships once lost are rekindled.
