It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

Based on Frank Capra’s classic film, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play has all the adored characters and the same heartwarming tale of angel Clarence reminding despondent George Bailey of the important things in life. Presented in the style of a live 1940s radio show, the production features five actors playing over 50 characters. Prior to the beginning of the performance, the actors interact with the audience. Interspersed throughout the production are radio jingles recognizing sponsoring organizations. Also, audience members may submit radio grams to be read by the actors during the show.

Taproot Theatre’s production is staged under the direction of Associate Artistic Director Karen Lund.

Preview performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, November 17 and 18, at 8:00 PM.

A special Senior Matinee performance is offered on Wednesday, November 29 at 2:00 PM. Tickets for this performance are $15.00 and $17.00 and are available through Taproot’s Group Sales Office at 206-781-9705.

There is no performance on Thursday, November 23.
