About the Show

Fiddler on the Roof, Jr. transports audiences to Tsarist Russia in the early 1900s, to the small village of Anatevka. In Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, endeavors to keep the traditions of his close-knit Jewish community alive. Along with his wife Golde, Tevye attempts to raise five daughters, while also adjusting to a changing world. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof has impacted audiences around the world with its humor, warmth and honesty. Fiddler on the Roof is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Composer/Lyricist, and Best Book of a Musical.
