Alice in Wonderland

When young Alice chases after a mysterious talking rabbit she finds herself transported to a topsy-turvy world of fiendishly grinning cats, body-modifying potions, bloodthirsty, apoplectic queens, and all manner of talking animals saying the silliest of things.

“This project was proposed by the students,” says SPT Education Director, Shana Bestock. “It is their vision and energy that bring Alice to the stage. This incredible ensemble of young artists inspires me, from the actors to the designers; they all have huge investment in bringing Wonderland to life. They are full of intelligent whimsy and wonder and magic and mystery, collectively generating sparks of electric connection and possibility. I am thrilled to be along for the ride!”
