Written and directed by Psalmayene 24, Zomo the Rabbit: a Hip-Hop Creation Myth takes the shape of an ancient creation myth.

In the show, Zomo and Sky God each have a problem: Zomo is frustrated that he has been dissed and dismissed by some of the other mythical tricksters; and Sky God can’t keep warring animals in line. So, when Zomo appeals to Sky God to give him power, Sky God tells him he must “glue a few things.” He assigns Zomo three “impossible” tasks. These tasks are: 1) get the dance shoes of Big Fish at the DC Waterfront; 2) get the spray paint can from Wild Cow at the National Zoo; 3) get the turntable from DJ the Leopard in Adams Morgan.
