The Princess and the Pea

About the Show

When the time arrives for the Prince to get married, his mother, the Queen, decides that only the fairest and most delicate of ladies will have the chance to become his Princess. She designs a test to determine the quality of these ladies: the girl must sleep on a bed covered by multiple mattresses. A tiny pea will be placed underneath these downy cushions. If she awakens the next morning without horrible bruises on her pale skin from this miniscule intruder, she is not delicate enough and therefore not fit to be her son’s wife. Classika’s puppeteers star in The Princess and the Pea, a fairy tale favorite with music and fun for all ages.

There are no performances June 14 and 15.
