Michael Healey’s The Drawer Boy is the story of two Canadian farmers, Angus and Morgan, who are boyhood friends and World War II veterans. A wartime accident which left Angus with memory problems has put Morgan in charge of their collective past for 30 years. Their workaday lives are comically disrupted when a young actor researching farm life for a play shows up at their door. Daniel De Raey directs this regional premiere.
