About This Show

It is 1942 and Eastern Europe is trembling under the reign of a vicious ruler and his legions of hate. At the epicenter of this madness sits a young girl. Opinionated and complex. Curious and innocent. A teenager trying to make sense of the world and the people around her. Her universe has been reduced to a handful of intimates in a hidden annex on top of an Amsterdam office building. Her life is the raw and honest reflections she pours into her diary. Her thoughts become words and her words become a legacy. This Tony-nominated new adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank is still the play you know and love, but with more of Anne’s honesty, wit and determination.
