With characters we all know and love, this cherished drama uses sharp funny dialogue and eccenttricity to build to a conclusion that is deeply moving. Steel Magnolias is suffused with humor and tinged with tragedy as the matriarchs of Chinquapin, Louisiana gather a Truvy’s beuaty salon to gossip, dispense advice and support each other with tremendous love in times of adversity.
