Recent Tragic Events

Andrew, a shy bookstore clerk, has a blind date with Waverly, a foxy advertising executive, in Minneapolis on September 12, 2001. Upon meeting Waverly, Andrew has a strange feeling he has met her before. As Andrew tries to leave, strange events (such as a phone call that Waverly’s sister is missing in New York) keep happening that delay his departure. Recent Tragic Events tackles the issues of determinism, fate, and the connections between seemingly unrelated people and events. Presented by Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
