Orson’s Shadow
$25.00 - $55.00
Round House Theatre presents the DC-area premiere of the Off-Broadway hit Orson’s Shadow. Orson Welles, Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh, and Joan Plowright come to life in this clever comedy that re-imagines the drama that accompanied a 1960 production of Ionesco’s Rhinoceros.
The real fireworks exploded backstage where fragile egos, inflamed nerves, and a love triangle collide in an uproarious clash of the theatrical titans. A fictional account of real events, Orson’s Shadow shows that these larger-than-life celebrities are still only human.
