Necessary Targets

Eve Ensler has devoted her life to stopping violence, envisioning a planet in which women and girls are free to thrive, rather than merely survive. Her work grows out of her own personal experiences with violence. Necessary Targets is based in part on interviews Ensler conducted with numerous women who survived the civil war in the former Yugoslavia. It is a play not so much about war, as it is about the period after combat – a period often as dangerous forwomen as wartime itself.

THere is no performance on Sunday, June 27. There is an additional performance on Thursday, June 24 at 2pm.
