METLab: Plays in Progress

METLab is a new play festival featuring 7 plays by 6 gifted playwrights. Our Mainstage show, The God of this World, which was given a public reading at MET last fall, will be given a fully produced production. Reading Series shows (Family Holiday, The Conversion of Light and Bad Fiction) will have an initial reading after which playwright; directors and actors will continue to work on the show until the second reading or staged reading. This is a unique opportunity to see a work in progress.

The Coffee House Series features a one-time reading of three plays: Lies, Car Games and Lenny Was Here. Tickets for individual shows can be purchased through the links below following the show descriptions. For the Reading Series, one ticket to an individual play will gain you admittance to both readings of that play. Coffee House shows are free.
