Meredith’s Stand-Up to Brain Cancer

Entering its third year, dccomedyfest specializes in bringing the hottest, cutting-edge stand-up, sketch, short-film and improv comedy from throughout North America to multiple venues throughout DC. Taking place over three nights, the festival kicks off with Meredith’s Stand-Up to Brain Cancer. Named in honor of Blaire Postman’s (Founder & Chairperson of dccomedyfest) fiancée’s late mother, the evening is designed to raise money for The Brain Tumor Society and the Medical College of Virginia’s research program.

In addition to Meredith’s Stand-Up to Brain Cancer, this year’s festival includes auditions for Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show, a short film contest sponsored by CollegeHumor.com and the Washington, DC premier of the famed Annoyance Theatre’s sketch comedy production, President Bush is a Great Man.
