During WWII, Nazis imported a boatload of French whores for the entertainment of troupes on Jersey. But the coaster struck rocks and sank, killing nearly all on board. From this real event, Hardigan creates a sublime and surreal poetic voice for those women lost at sea. Performed in the water!
