Ford’s Theatre brings back its 1994 hit Hot Mikado, a musical adaptation of Gilbert and Sullivan’s operetta The Mikado. This swing-time version is a comedy about love and justice in the ancient Japanese village of Titipu. The story follows Nanki-Poo, a wandering musician, as he tries to win the hand of his sweetheart, Yum-Yum. Daniel H. Bell directs and choreographs, as he did with the 1994 production.
Preview performances run from Wednesday, March 13 to Sunday, March 17 at 7:30pm. All tickets for previews are $25.
There is no 7:30pm performance on Sunday, March 24.
