David et Jonathas

David et Jonathas recounts the tragic story of the love between David, future king of the nation of Israel and Jonathan, the eldest son of Saul, King of Israel, and their struggle to reconcile their affection for each other, their conflicted loyalty to Saul, who has been father to them both, and the inexplicable will of the Israelite God.

This production will also be presented at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Opera House May 9-10.
