Dubbed “the last leading man” by the New York Times, Brian Stokes Mitchell received a Tony Award for his role as Fred Graham in Kiss Me Kate. A Tony nominee for Man of La Mancha, Ragtime, and King Hedley II, Mr. Stokes Mitchell also performed the title role in Sweeney Todd at the Kennedy Center’s tremendously successful Sondheim Celebration in 2002.
