All the world’s a stage for our 12th silent Shakespeare adaptation, As You Like It! The witty and resourceful Rosalind, along with her devoted cousin Celia, are forced to flee their lives of luxury for an unfamiliar world – the bleak streets of a rusted urban wasteland. Their grim exile is transformed once Rosalind encounters the lovelorn Orlando, who fails to recognize the object of his affections in disguise! Synetic’s purely physical interpretation of As You Like It promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of the nature of traditional gender roles, societal class, and love with visual imagery and original music that will be hard to forget. This production will not have dialogue.
