About the Show
The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo tells the story of Quasimodo, a kind-hearted but physically deformed bell ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Quasimodo falls in love with Esmeralda, a beautiful Romani woman, and becomes entangled in a complex web of love, betrayal, and social injustice. Set against the backdrop of 15th-century Paris, the novel explores themes of discrimination, compassion, and the struggle for justice in a society marked by prejudice and inequality.
