New Play Reading Series

Throughout the summer, Dorset Theatre Festival’s New Play Reading Series introduces regional audiences to three of America’s top emerging female playwrights. Each playwright spends five days in residency at the festival, and each artist’s time culminates with a public reading of a new play. Mona Mansour (Unseen), Lauren Yee (Ching Chong Chinaman), and Paola Lázaro (Tell Hector I Miss Him) are the 2017 featured playwrights.
