About the Show

It’s the summer of 1665 in London. The city has come to a screeching halt as the Great Plague engulfs the lives of Londoners striking fear and panic in their hearts. Homes have been boarded up to offer an attempt at protection from contracting or passing the infection. Doors are marked with crosses drawn in red paint and inscribed above are the words "Lord Have Mercy Upon Us".

It’s in Westminster where we meet the aristocratic William and Darcy Snelgrave who have been quarantined in their home for 28 days. Servants have died of the infection and by law they are forced to be confined. The Snelgraves have only three more days left to serve and then they will finally be able to escape the horrors surrounding London. However, the couple’s hope to flee the city is quickly extinguished when a night watchman catches two refugees breaking into the mansion. The two intruders, a destitute sailor and a mysterious 12 year old girl, could easily be carrying the contagious plague. By law, they are ordered to serve thirty more days in confinement. The guard patrolling outside keeps the owners and interlopers locked together, the social hierarchy collapses, and sexual inhibitions are loosened as the prisoners wait for death to strike them down or pass them by. Who, if anyone, will survive?
