Paper Plane

The premiere of Lake Simon’s latest creation, Paper Plane explores Amelia Earhart’s life and achievements, both fantasy and fact from the inside out. Entering into Amelia’s subconscious, a little land emerges, complete with towns and hillsides and where all of her fantasies and fears live. Lake toys with her emotions finding both the reserved and relentless sides to Amelia’s imagination. This is all told through performance and dance, mask and music.
