Don Juan in Hell is a part of Theatre Three’s new “Appetizer Series”. All performances will take place in Theatre Too! and will be preceded by heavy appetizers in the Theatre Three’s lobby. These attractions are performed in a concert reading style to give the audience the taste and flavor of a full stage presentation. Don Juan in Hell is written by George Bernard Shaw, author of Theatre Three’s third show of the season, Mrs. Warren’s Profession.
Shaw wrote of a soiree in hell attended by the legendary Don Juan, Dona Ana, her vengeful father and the Devil himself. Presented as a concert reading, this supremely witty play put Shaw’s unique view of love and war on equal footing. Appetizers will be sponsored by Arcodoro Pomodoro.
