The Beardsley Living Theatre presents Angela Wilson’s Black Velvet, directed by Brenda and Michael Galgan. The play revolves around an aspiring singer who meets his first fan in a Memphis recording studio in 1956. It is presented as part of the Cultural Center’s Festival of Independent Theaters.
