Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, the romantic comedy of misguided love and mistaken identity, features Greater Tuna star and State Theatre Company Associate Artist, Jaston Williams. Artistic director, Scott Kanoff, transplants the setting from the mythical Illyria to early New Orleans, bringing a distinctly American shading to the proceedings and a blues-tinged score to the fabled songs of the Bard’s most musical play. This exhilarating new production also introduces a multicultural cast of dynamic young actors from the professional training program of the University of Texas.
