Vista Art Night: Sarah Scruggs

As a member of the Vista Guild, the Koger Center for the Arts partnered with The Jasper Project to open a new rotating art space, titled The Nook, in celebration of Third Thursday Art Night. April 2026’s featured artist in The Nook is Sarah Scruggs.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Sarah Scruggs is a South Carolinian painter focusing in oil & watercolor. Her alla prima style is relaxed, playful with attention to color. Most always, her paintings are a celebration of storms, the ever changing clouds, flora & fauna. Many of her materials are hand ground pigments collected from local areas in the pursuit of play.
