The Red Balloon

The lyrical French film has enchanted children and adults for more than 40 years. SCT brings The Red Balloon to America in collaboration with Visible Fictions. Ignored by his family and school mates, Pascal peers up from his loneliness one day to discover a magical red balloon. The two become inseparable, soaring from one end of the city to the other, until a nasty gang of boys decide to take the red balloon for themselves. Pascal must find a way to protect himself and his newfound friend.
Children 3 years and under are not permitted into the theater. There are no performances on Sunday, December 24.
