Vartan and Armine Aghajanyan are the Founders, Artistic
Directors, Choreographers, and Costume Designers for Zvartnots Dance Ensemble.
Since 1989, their lifelong dedication to preserving and sharing Armenia’s rich
culture through dance and music has made them an ambassador, promoting
cross-cultural appreciation and enriching the lives of many students and
audiences across the world. Vartan & Armine Aghajanyan have been the
recipients of many prestigious awards for their tireless work, innovative choreography,
and outstanding contribution to the community. Their choreography and costume
designs have enhanced stage professionalism for decades. Vartan & Armine
Aghajanyan’s success is perhaps best judged by its longevity and by the large
number of students and community members who credit them with instilling within
them the discipline, pride, and a piece of Armenia through music and dance.
