Children’s Theatre of Charlotte presents E.B. White’s Charlotte’s Web. Meet Wilbur, an irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; and, of course, an extraordinary spider named Charlotte, who proves to be a “true friend and a good writer.” Determined to help Wilbur, Charlotte creates a miracle by weaving ‘Some Pig’ into her web. It’s the beginning of a passionate campaign to save Wilbur, and a friendship that will mean everything to Charlotte. Working with the advice of E.B. White, Joseph Robinette has created a beautiful, knowing play about friendship and love.
