About the Show
"You always did love a good story."
Three firefighters working an overnight shift begin to tell tales of passion and inflammation. As their stories grow more and more intense, smoke begins to fill the firehouse. A mysterious woman seems to be the only person who can keep the flames at bay. A play about what happens when you add oxygen to desire.
Combustion will be presented as a reading at Q.E.D. in the first ever edition of the Astoria New Play Festival on Saturday, November 23rd, 7:00pm, followed by a talkback with the playwright.
