The Bucks County Playhouse presents Footloose, the story of a boy who moves to a small town and tries to conform to small town life.
Based on the 1980s movie starring Kevin Bacon, the musical centers on a free spirited teen. Ren McCormack is a city boy who relocates to a small town and struggles to fit in with the town’s strict rules and morals. He ends up reminding a minister that it is no sin to be young. Included in the musical score are such 1980s hits as “Let’s Hear It For The Boy”, “Holding Out For A Hero”, “Almost Paradise” and the title song, “Footloose”.
