About This Show

The Philadelphia Fringe Festival is proud to present this special double bill.
With Cave Theory: Displaced, a non-traditional movement-driven performance piece, Keiko Yamamoto explores the shadow reality life suggested by Plato. Using actual shadows and metaphorical imagery to create catharthis, she layers her own belief that a core spirit in each of us can be enlighted to see beyond the shadows.
With blood, gore, and animal crackers, The Wounded Body infiltrates what’s behind the marital photogenic smiles. Two couples follow the rules, proving that love is the feeling that separates us from the beast…isn’t it?
