About the Show

The Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival presents the world premiere of Yank, a gay WW II buddy-movie-of-a-musical by the brother writing team of Cherry Hill natives David and Joseph Zellnik. The show tells the story of Stu (a war reporter) and Mitch (a private) who fall in love in basic training. Suffused with swing, big band, and boogie woogie, Yank explores what stories get told in wartime, and how WW II became the great catalyst in bringing gay men and women together.

Performances: 6/10, 6/11, 6/15, 6/17 @ 8PM, 6/11, 6/18 @ 2PM, 6/19@7PM
