Survival Strategies: A Tale of Faith

About the Show

Based on the true story of a West Philadelphia woman, Survival Strategies: A Tale of Faith is a gritty, gripping drama about one Christian mother’s last ditch effort to reclaim her only child from the throes of “crack” cocaine addiction. First World Theatre Ensemble presents the world premiere of Dr. Kimmika L. H. Williams-Witherspoon’s play, directed by Zuhairah McGill and H. German Wilson.

Audiences are invited to “Talk Back Sundays” for discussions of the effects of addiction on the family, friends and the community. “Talk Backs” immediately follow the Sunday matinee performances.
