Mixed Company

Hokum Arts, with the mission of promoting the professional development of emerging artists in all disciplines, presents their first-of-many multi-disciplinary cultural events. Mixed Company features fine and performing arts exhibitions from some of Philadelphia’s most talented and prominent artists, including a fine art exhibit (by Rusty Bargeron, David Deitch, and Nick Piazza), photography (by CHRISKPhotography), a fashion show (by local designer Anna Frangiosa), a neo-burlesque dance segment (choreographed by Louis DeVaughn Nelson), cabaret theatre (by the Peek-A-Boo Revue’s Christa D’Agostino), a film screening (featuring the work Mike Zaleski, winner of the Local Filmmaker Award at the 2006 Backseat Film Festival), and live bands (Man in Black, a Johnny Cash tribute band, and Mountain Man).
