James Joyce’s The Dead

The Arden Theatre Company presents the Philadelphia premiere of the critically-acclaimed musical play James Joyce’s The Dead. Based on Joyce’s classic Irish short story, the setting is the Christmas party of Gabriel Conroy’s music loving aunts, where three generations gather each year for a holiday feast. This year, a guest’s song awakens a memory for Gabriel’s wife and revives a long buried passion.

There are additional 2:00pm matinees on Wednesday, May 29 and June 12. There are additional evening performances on Sundays, May 26 at June 9 at 7:00pm.
