Woody Guthrie’s American Song

Through his words and music, Woody Guthrie’s American Song celebrates the diversity, resilience and courage of America. As it follows the life of the rambling folk singer from the Dust Bowl to California to the New York Island in over two dozen songs, the piece gives an unforgettable view of a chapter in our nation’s history. The piece is conceived and adapted by Peter Glazier.

Preview performances are Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28 at 8:00pm. Actor’s Benefit Night (with proceeds distributed to the actors) is Wednesday, July 2 at 8:00pm.
