Mandy Gonzalez in Concert

A bit of Broadway comes to Bend when Mandy Gonzalez lights up the Tower stage on Saturday, April 22 capping off the second annual Stage the Change Conference.

Mandy made her Broadway debut receiving a Drama Desk Award for originating Nina Rosario in the Tony Award-winning musical, In the Heights. She starred as Elphaba in Wicked, blowing the roof off New York’s Gershwin Theatre nightly belting out the signature song, “Defying Gravity.” Most recently, she was featured night after night as Angela Schuyler in Hamilton.

Television viewers recognize Mandy from recurring roles in the hit series “Madam Secretary,” “Bull,” and alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short as Selena Gomez’s mother in “Only Murders in the Building.” Mandy can also be heard as the voice of Mei in Disney’s “Mulan 2.”
