Ragtime

Adapted from the 1975 novel by E.L. Doctorow, Ragtime is considered by musical theater afficianados to be one of the greatest American musicals ever written. Set during the opening years of the twentieth century, it tells the story of three groups, represented by the matriarch of a WASP family in New Rochelle, NY; a Harlem musician; and a Latvian Jewish immigrant — all struggling to find their place in the emerging American Dream.
