Closer

Patrick Marber’s Closer is a stinging look at modern love and betrayal as four lives intertwine over the course of 4 1/2 years. Dan, an obituary writer, meets Alice, a stripper, and writes a novel inspired by their meeting. While posing for his book jacket cover, Dan meets Anna, a photographer. Larry, a dermatologist, searches the internet chat rooms for love. A series of pass-the-lover scenes occur in which this quartet struggle to find intimacy but can?t seem to get closer.
