About the Show

WOMAN IN THE ARENA IS A FUNNY, MOVING AND UPLIFTING ONE-SIDED CONVERSATION ABOUT NEURODIVERGENCE, TRAUMA, DEAD BODIES, AND OTHER LIGHTHEARTED TOPICS, written and performed by JEN DIGIACOMO (“The Day Elvis Died”, Popcorn Award shortlist recipient for Best New Writing at Edinburgh Fringe), and directed by TANA SIROIS (“UnTethered”, “Crushing Baby Animals”, “Tomorrow In The Battle”). Following a sold-out preview in March, the show will return to NYC May 4th & 5th. The May 4th performance will be followed by a talkback, moderated by director, performer, choreographer and producer, KELLY BARTNIK (Lead Producer of “The Death of Rasputin” and original cast member of “Sleep No More” in NYC and Boston). WOMAN IN THE ARENA premiered at THE EDINBURGH FESTIVAL FRINGE where it was nominated for an OFFIE AWARD. The show received 5 stars from WEE REVIEW (“heart stopping intensity”), 4 stars from BINGE FRINGE (“brilliantly staggered storytelling”), and 4 stars from FRINGE BISCUIT.
