Retrieving The Lamb

Just in time for the holidays, Retrieving the Lamb, by Charlotte’s own, Judy Simpson-Cook, is a magical celebration. Christmas comes but once a year, and for the folks in Travis Whitten’s nativity play, that’s way too often… Mary, Joseph, and the angel are sick; the music director is wavering, and to make matters worse, a terrifying storm ensues; leaving the cast in darkness and the Christmas lamb lost in the night. As a local famer braves the elements to search for the lamb, the rest are left to search for love, compassion, understanding – and the spirit of the season that they have lost.
