Kate Davis Trio

Kate Davis Trio During her involvement in the "young ARTS" programs, Kate Davis had the opportunity to perform for an audience that included ballet master Baryshnikov, who approached her to say, "You’re talented. I was really inspired by what you did." Meeting Baryshnikov led to his invitation to be featured performer at the Salon de Louis Vuitton Series in New York City. In its article about the event, Eyescoop magazine commented, "Dessert was rhubarb compote with marinated strawberries and sweet ginger sorbet, but the real treat was a performance by 19-year-old Kate Davis."

She was selected as a Presidential Scholar of the Arts, which included a White House visit and a performance at Kennedy Center. She studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Not only did this renowned institution give Kate a full scholarship, her photo is front and center in their 2010 brochure. Since living in New York, Kate has performed at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola and The Blue Note.
